The story that gave birth to the famous blue pill will be entitled to overproduction.

It’s very likely you’ve heard a lot about the pharmaceutical company Pfizer these days, not least because it’s a giant company that has the most advanced tests for a possible Covid-19 vaccine. But among Pfizer’s greatest hits, there is one name that stands out. We are talking about Viagra.

The blue pill of impotence has long emerged, often in the form of small moments of humor, in fiction. But now you will be entitled to (partially) serious treatment. Spike Lee will perform a musical inspired by the rise of Viagra and assisted by actor and screenwriter Kwame Kwei-Armah and award-winning duo Tony Stew Stewart and Heidi Rodewald.

Explain to “Deadline” that the inspiration for the film is an article from “Esquire”, 2018, titled “All Rise: The Untold Story of The Guys Who Launched Viagra” (which in Portuguese is something like “Everyone standing , the untold story of the guys who launched Viagra).

This new project succeeds another very different work “Da 5 Bloods: Irmãos de Armas”, a film released by Netflix last summer and which tells the story of former veterans who return to the places where they fought in Vietnam. .
